my philosophy
Your closet needs to support who you are right now.
Whether you’re adjusting to a new body, a new job, a move, or simply feel overwhelmed every time you even think about your closet, I can help you get to a place where getting dressed will be easier, you’ll feel more confident, and you’ll feel more like yourself.
When you book a session with me, we can
★ work together to edit out the pieces that no longer serve your lifestyle or your headspace
★ build a functional, beautiful wardrobe out of pieces you already love
★ fill any gaps with new pieces sourced sustainably
I prioritize mindful, circular fashion. For new purchases, I recommend secondhand pieces as much as possible, but I can always tailor my approach to your specific preferences and body type.
my background
From Brooklyn to Atlanta. From childcare to your closet.
After a lifetime of thrifting, 8+ years working in resale fashion (including Beacon’s Closet in Greenpoint, Brooklyn), and 5+ years of working with children, I’ve been inspired to work to help people fall back in love with their closets.
I bring a mix of deep fashion knowledge of fabrics, cuts, and styles, along with patient, supportive guidance to every session.
I can tell when you put something on and feel more comfortable and like yourself, and I can also tell when you just don’t.
And I’ll let you know.
My combination of resale retail and in-home childcare work has given me invaluable experience. Whatever you might be embarrassed about, I’ve already seen it. I’ve probably also touched it, sorted it into a pile, and tossed it in my car.
the 3-hour closet edit / $250
There are lots of ways that a “closet edit” session with me can look.
Closet Curation
for current-season focus & refinement
This session is for people who know their wardrobe pretty well and have an idea of what outfits they feel are “missing” right now. Our main focus for this session will be your current-season wardrobe, so we can make an immediate difference for your day-to-day outfits. We can always book further sessions to continue our work. I’ve written an outline below of what a closet curation session usually looks like.
General Closet Edit
for big life shifts, cleanouts, and more
I also offer a more freeform “closet edit/cleanout” session for clients who are looking to rebuild their wardrobe after a big lifestyle change, haven’t gone through their wardrobe in a while, and/or would like companionship and guidance while they parse through it all. If this sounds more like you, just schedule an appointment and let me know more about what you’re looking for in the followup questionnaire!
- 01 / vision & edit
We’ll begin by going over your style inspirations and goals. Then, we’ll sort through your current-season wardrobe, focusing on your heavy-rotation pieces, and I’ll give suggestions for edits (what to let go of). This will take our first 45-60 minutes. - 02 / styling lab
This is the fun part! Mixing and matching your existing pieces, building new outfits together that are tailored to your lifestyle and tastes, and working toward getting you to a capsule wardrobe. We’ll move your clothes to a rolling rack so we can “shop your closet” together. We’ll leave plenty of time for this, because building outfits together will be a creative journey. 60-75 minutes. - 03 / wrap-up & next steps
We’ll put your closet back together, decide what to do with the pieces you’re letting go of, and create a “gap fill” list – mapping out specific items, brands, and styles to look for secondhand, through clothing rental, or from sustainable retailers. We’ll schedule at least 45 minutes for this. - post-session support
Within 48 hours of our session, I will send you a digital summary of our work together, including your personalized “gap fill” recommendations and styling notes.
You can expect to end our session with around 4-6 new outfits made out of the clothes you already have, along with a custom list of “gap fill” items that will unlock several new outfits for you.
