Cassidy Hatcher is a transdisciplinary artist and educator from the American South with a degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Columbia University.
Their work spans visual art, performance, and writing, and has appeared in the anthology MACRO (2016) and several self‑published poetry chapbooks. They have performed on stages from New York City to Georgia and between.
Cassidy has over five years of experience working with children and teens in schools, camps, and community settings, alongside nearly a decade of working in sustainable and resale fashion. Their background includes work with Color Wheel Studio in Decatur, Koinonia Farm in Americus, and Beacon’s Closet in Brooklyn. They recently collaborated on their first community-based movement workshop for adults (more to come!), and have previously maintained a studio practice at Sycamore Place Gallery in downtown Decatur.
Cassidy currently works out of their home studio in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
